We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Leader in Data Center Build to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading business development efforts, driving revenue growth, and overseeing the strategic direction of our Data Center construction division. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities, business acumen, and a proven track record of success in the Data Center construction industry.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
STRATEGIC
Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion in the Data Center construction sector.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including market segments, geographic regions, and strategic partnerships, to grow the company's Data Center construction portfolio.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner in their Data Center build initiatives.
Lead the development of proposals, bids, and presentations for Data Center construction projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and construction professionals, to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations.
Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape in the Data Center construction industry, identifying emerging opportunities and potential threats, and informing strategic decision-making.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team, promoting knowledge-sharing and professional development initiatives.
Represent the company in client meetings, industry conferences, and other forums, showcasing expertise and capabilities in Data Center construction.
Negotiate terms and pricing agreements to secure deals with clients, ensuring win-win outcomes for both parties. Close sales transactions on time.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of account managers, providing guidance, support, and coaching to drive individual and team performance. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the account management team.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to identify new business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering / MBA
Data Center design fundamental knowledge and functioning of subsystems like electrical, HVAC, BMS etc., and understanding of Tier standards,
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric approach to account management.
Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
CDCP / CDCS / ATD preferred
